Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes:  “Here’s the truth: I grew up in a working class family. I’ll fight for middle class tax cuts. While Ron Johnson praises companies outsourcing our jobs, I want to create manufacturing jobs here.”

MADISON — Today, Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes, Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate, released ‘At Bat,’ a new ad highlighting how he will be an authentic champion for working people in the Senate. ‘At Bat’ is part of a multi-million dollar ad campaign on broadcast, cable, and digital throughout the state.

While Ron Johnson tries to distract voters from his record of supporting sending Wisconsin jobs out of state and delivering for his wealthy donors, Mandela Barnes will be a champion for Wisconsin’s middle class.

The proud son of a union family, Mandela Barnes knows firsthand the opportunities that come from building things in Wisconsin. In the Senate, he’ll fight to bring supply chains back to America and create thousands of family-sustaining manufacturing jobs right here in the state.

It’s that time of year.

My opponent is throwing everything he’s got at me, hoping you think I’m dangerous.

But I can take the heat.

Because here’s the truth: I grew up in a working class family.

I’ll fight for middle class tax cuts.

While Ron Johnson praises companies outsourcing our jobs, I want to create manufacturing jobs here.

When you believe in folks like I believe in Wisconsin, you don’t sell them out.

You go to bat for them.

I’m Mandela Barnes and I approve this message.
