MADISON — Despite the fact that 72% of Wisconsinites support Roe v. Wade, Ron Johnson voted against the Women’s Health Protection Act. In response, Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes, candidate for U.S. Senate, released the following statement.

“The Senate is fundamentally broken and it will stay that way until we retire self-serving politicians like Ron Johnson who ignore the will of the majority and vote to strip away our rights. In the Senate, I’ll never stop fighting to protect a woman’s right to make decisions about her own body.”
