MADISON — Today, Wisconsin State Representative Francesca Hong joined over 120 state and local elected officials in endorsing Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate. Rep. Hong released the following statement:

“Mandela Barnes has dedicated his entire career to fighting for middle class families like his and mine. From his grassroots organizing days to his time traveling to every county in the state as Lieutenant Governor, Mandela’s record of prioritizing and delivering for Wisconsinites is unmatched. As a mother, service industry worker, and proud state representative myself, I know Mandela Barnes is the champion we need in the U.S. Senate, and I’m proud to stand with him.”

Representative Francesca Hong is a second-generation Wisconsinite, mother, community organizer, and service industry worker in Madison. Rep. Hong joins a long list of leaders in the Democratic Party, including Senators Elizabeth Warren and Cory Booker and House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, in endorsing Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate.
