STOCKBRIDGE – The Ty Bodden for Assembly campaign is proud to receive the endorsements of Pro-Life Wisconsin and Wisconsin Family Action.

Director of Pro-Life Wisconsin Victory Fund, Matt Sande states, “Thank you [Ty] for your recognition of the personhood of the preborn baby and for your principled and compassionate no-exceptions pro-life position. Your commitment to protect all innocent human beings from the moment of conception makes you the only choice for pro-life voters in the upcoming primary and general elections. We are pleased to give you our endorsement.”

Director of Wisconsin Family Action, Julaine Appling, stated this about their organization’s endorsed candidates, “We are always looking for candidates of good character, strong conservative beliefs, and leadership qualities to serve in our state government. These candidates meet those criteria. We look forward to their serving in their respective offices with distinction, as they hold true to their principled beliefs while working to strengthen, preserve, and promote marriage and family, the sanctity of life, religious liberty, economic prosperity, educational freedom, and more on behalf of the constituents they represent and for the benefit of all Wisconsin citizens. We urge voters to support these candidates in the days leading to the August 9 primary and then in the weeks heading into the general election on November 8.”

Ty Bodden states, “I am honored to receive the endorsements of two amazing organizations. The sanctity of life is a top priority for me and I will defend life at every turn in the legislature.”

Ty is the only candidate in the 59th assembly district race to receive the endorsement from either of these groups. Ty and his wife, Paige, have firsthand experience fighting back against abortion. Ty and Paige have a three year old and a newborn at home.  They also welcomed a son last summer, but he passed away after only an hour of life. Their son, Elijah, was diagnosed with a condition (BOO) at the 16th week ultrasound that gave him a nearly impossible chance of survival after being born. Termination was recommended several times by doctors throughout their pregnancy, but Ty & Paige held true to their beliefs and told their doctors that termination was not an option and that it was all in God’s hands. Ty and Paige feel blessed to have had that hour with their son and they know they will see him again someday.

Over the last three years, Ty has worked for the Department of Corrections, serving at both Kettle Moraine Correctional Institution and Taycheedah Correctional Institution. Ty serves as the Board Chairman of Cristo Rey Ranch in Mt. Calvary, which is an organization that specializes in animal therapy for children and young adults with intellectual disabilities.

The primary election is on Tuesday, August 9th. More information on the Bodden campaign can be found at www.tybodden.com.
