(Madison, Wis.) – Today, District 1 Court of Appeals Chief Judge William Brash submitted over 1,800 nomination signatures to retain his seat on the bench. This secures Judge Brash’s place on the ballot for the District 1 Court of Appeals seat that he has held since 2015.

“It is an honor to have the support of so many of my fellow Wisconsinites, who continue their outpouring of support by sending our campaign additional nomination signatures,” said District 1 Chief Judge William Brash. I look forward to the coming campaign season and meeting with my constituents to highlight the importance of the work we do on the bench for the people of Wisconsin.”

District 1 of the Court of Appeals is one of four Court of Appeals districts and is located entirely in Milwaukee county.

The Spring General election is on April 4, 2023.
