MADISON, Wis. — Today, the Building and Construction Trades of South Central Wisconsin announced their endorsement of Governor Tony Evers’ re-election campaign.
“We are proud to announce our endorsement for Governor Tony Evers in his bid for re-election,” said Jac Weitzel, Executive Director of Building Trades Council of South Central
Wisconsin. “Governor Evers has been a champion for labor and for working families. During his first term, he fixed more than 1 , 700 miles of road and more than 700 bridges, lowered income taxes for 86% of Wisconsinites, and funded apprenticeship and job training programs for students. Our members are greatly appreciative of his work in making Wisconsin a better, stronger state and we look forward to working with Gov. Evers in the future.’
