MILWAUKEE- Peter Burgelis announced a long list of endorsements for his candidacy today for Supervisor in Milwaukee County’s 15th District in the Spring 2022 election. Peter currently works as a mortgage lender, helping families secure financing for their homes. Labor unions and other organizations such as Citizen Action of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Area Labor Council AFL-CIO, UAW United Auto Workers Southeastern Wisconsin CAPCouncil, Wisconsin Progress, UFCW United Food and Communication Workers Local 1473, and Milwaukee Building and Construction Trades AFL-CIO have all endorsed Burgelis.

“Milwaukee County is a great community and the best place to call home,” said Peter Burgelis, “I am running for County Supervisor because we need a fighter on the County Board who will  focus on real solutions. Residents have watched a decline in County Services and Parks in the  past two decades. The Board of Supervisors must do more for public safety, our parks and help transit connect our community. The public safety challenges Milwaukee County faces are not unique, and the Sheriff’s Department can do more to help municipalities. High speed chases and reckless driving dont end at the edge of West Allis or Milwaukee. They are the same problems and obstacles citywide.  County leaders need to stand together to make all of Milwaukee an even better place to live, work, and play.”

State Senator Tim Carpenter who represents part of the 15th District in Madison says “Milwaukee County needs a champion who understands how to improve our parks and public services. Burgelis will bring effective and common-sense leadership to the County Board and I urge you to vote for Peter on April 5th.”

“Burgelis will fight for equity at Milwaukee County and understands our Milwaukee values. He’s an active and engaged citizen who knows how to improve Milwaukee County’s Parks and Transit and will be an effective leader for all of the 15th District. Vote for Peter Burgelis on April 5th!” said Milwaukee County Register of Deeds Israel Ramon.

“I’m here to listen and work hard to earn the support, trust and vote of my neighbors throughout the new 15th District. I’m honored to have the support of local labor organizations and many elected officials. You’ll be seeing a lot of me on the campaign trail and knocking at your door.” said Burgelis.

The election for District 15 Supervisor will be held in April 5th, 2022.
