MILWAUKEE—Congresswoman Gwen Moore today endorsed George Christenson in the race for Milwaukee County Clerk of Court. This is a critical position to address current challenges in the justice system, including a massive backlog in Milwaukee County courts. Congresswoman Moore adds her name to more than 50 other local leaders who have already endorsed Christenson, after Milwaukee County’s judges chose him to be Interim Clerk of Court.
“George Christenson has been a community leader and a champion for voting rights,” said Congresswoman Moore. “He is providing much needed leadership as our Milwaukee County Clerk of Court. George is currently making needed reforms to reduce the case backlog and improve operations. Access to a well-functioning judicial system is a matter of justice because justice deferred is justice denied. He has my full support.”
