Redistricting changed the 9th substantially, constituents encouraged to come meet their Alderman
City of Racine – 9th District Alderman, Terry McCarthy, announced today that he will be taking a “Coffee Break” at Wilson’s Coffee and Tea this Saturday, April 16th, from 1-3pm and invites the residents of the new 9th District to join him.
“Redistricting substantially changed the 9th Aldermanic District, which means I now represent a substantial group of constituents for the very first time. ,” said Alderman Terry McCarthy. “I believe that access to your elected officials is very important and I want my constituents to know who to contact when they need assistance. I also need to hear directly from my constituents about the issues they care about to better represent them. So if you live in the new 9th District, please come have a cup of joe with me and let’s talk about what we can do to make Racine an even better place.”
The redistricted 9th Aldermanic District covers roughly from the corner of Hayes and Lindermann to the northern and western boundaries of the City.
