City of Racine: COVID-19 testing at Festival Hall extends into February

WI National Guard extended to at Festival Hall to help ensure continued access to testing 

City of Racine – Today, City of Racine Public Health Administrator Dottie-Kay Bowersox announced that National Guard COVID-19 testing at Festival Hall has been extended until February 10th. Hours will continue to be Mondays and Thursdays from Noon until 6pm. 

In a statement Dottie-Kay Bowersox, the Public Health Administrator for the City of Racine had this to say: 

“We are grateful that the Wisconsin Department of Health Services has agreed to extend the free testing site at Festival Hall through February 10^th. As testing supplies have become harder find though out the community, having the continued support of the National Guard helps us to continue to provide equitable access to COVID-19 testing for our residents. It is critically important that the community access the right resources at the right locations. In order to protect the staff and the resources of our hospital systems, rather than going to emergency rooms for a COVID-19 test, please consider other locations, like Festival Hall. Remember, the best way to make sure you stay out of the hospital if become, COVID-19 positive, is to be fully vaccinated and boosted. Specific testing dates are: 

• Thursday, January 27^th, Noon to 6pm 
• Monday, January 31^st, Noon to 6pm 
• Thursday, February 3^rd, Noon to 6pm 
• Monday, February 7^th, Noon to 6pm 
• Thursday, February 10^th, Noon to 6pm
