Eau Claire, WI — Today, the Rebecca Cooke for Congress campaign announced a 19-county tour of Wisconsin’s new Third District. The tour will commence on April 1st in Trempealeau County, with La Crosse and Vernon County stops to follow the next week. Over the course of the multi-week tour, the campaign will visit and meet with local farmers, workers, small business owners, students, seniors, and families in each of the Third District’s 19 counties (full list below).
As the only small business owner and working-class candidate in the WI-03 Democratic primary, Rebecca is committed to listening to every community and uplifting voices across the region.
“All too often, politicians make it to Washington, fail to listen, and forget about the voters who put them there and the communities they’re supposed to represent,” Rebecca said. “That’s why I’m committed to putting people first — and it starts with listening. I’ll take that same commitment to Congress and manage a constituent-focused office that addresses the concerns of Wisconsin families, connects our communities with the resources they need, and responds to local issues efficiently and effectively.”
Throughout the tour, the campaign will advise event details as well as provide post-event recaps and photos. Media interested in covering a specific stop or leg of the tour should contact press@cookeforwisconsin.com.
