Stevens Point, WI — Today, Stevens Point Fire Fighters, IAFF Local 484, announced their endorsement of Rebecca Cooke in Wisconsin’s Third Congressional District. They cited Rebecca’s values, leadership, and work ethic in their support for her candidacy.

“Rebecca brings fresh ideas to the issues facing our Country and Wisconsin and will provide a clean, transparent, and open government in Washington D.C., reaching across the aisle to work with all members of Congress,” Jason Pettis, Treasurer, of Stevens Point Fire Fighters said. “As a small business owner and nonprofit leader, she has focused on serving others and working with business leaders from both parties to provide opportunities for all Wisconsin residents. Rebecca has the knowledge and experience to help our economy grow and put our small towns and rural communities first. Rebecca will work hard putting people first and continue fighting for all Wisconsinites.”

“As the proud product of a union family, I am thrilled and beyond honored to have the Stevens Point Fire Fighters by my side in this race,” Rebecca Cooke said Monday. “My brother is a longtime union fire fighter here in Wisconsin, and I know firsthand the challenges facing our first responders and their families, especially over the last two years. In Congress, I’ll be a steadfast voice for our fire fighters and their work keeping our communities healthy and safe so that every Wisconsite can succeed.”
