LaGrange, WI – Today, Jason Dean, a Republican from LaGrange, today announced that he has been endorsed by Congressman Bryan Steil (WI-01) in the 31st Assembly District race. The 31st Assembly District stretches from Whitewater, down to Beloit, and over to Elkhorn.
“I am happy to endorse Jason Dean for the 31st Assembly District. Jason Dean is an experienced leader who will fight for Wisconsin families and workers,” said Congressman Bryan Steil. “Jason is a purple heart veteran who served our nation for over 20 years in the Marines. He continues to serve our community as a volunteer EMT and with various veteran service organizations. Jason’s valuable life experience and commitment to public service set him apart and will allow him to be an effective representative,” Steil continued. “Please join me in supporting Jason Dean’s campaign for the 31st Assembly District in the August primary and general election in November.”

Jason served over two decades in the United States Marine Corps and deployed for multiple tours of duty. In 2006, Jason was wounded in action by enemy fire in Iraq. He was subsequently awarded the Purple Heart Medal. Upon his retirement from the military in 2017, Jason and his family settled in LaGrange. In 2018, Jason began volunteering for Congressman Bryan Steil’s campaign and served as Field Director, coordinating the grassroots efforts for the campaign. After helping Congressman Steil win the election, Jason accepted a position at ABC Supply Company, Inc. to serve on a divisional leadership team.
On a volunteer basis, Jason serves as an Advanced EMT with the Lauderdale-LaGrange Fire Department and on Whitewater Fire Department (WFD). In 2021, Jason was elected to the WFD Board of Directors as the Vice-President. Jason holds leadership roles in various veterans’ service organizations in Wisconsin including the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) where he advocates for veterans and their benefits.
Jason lives in LaGrange with his wife, Jessica, and his teenage son Jeffrey. Jason also has two adult sons currently serving in the United States Marine Corps. Jason works in Beloit at ABC Supply Company on a divisional leadership team.
Jason Dean promises to bring his experience, commitment, and commonsense conservative values to Madison to fight for the people of the 31st Assembly District. Jason believes that we need to fund public safety, empower families and local communities, reduce wasteful spending, support our veterans, and ensure our children have access to quality education regardless of their zip code.
