he Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is seeking a public input on improvements along WIS 19, from Wood Violet Lane in Sun Prairie to Maunesha River Bridge in Marshall, in Dane County. Construction is currently scheduled for 2026.

A presentation and materials detailing the WIS 19 project are available to view on the project website at wisconsindot.gov/Pages/projects/by-region/sw/wis19-sunprairie/default.aspx. Otherwise, you can visit wisconsindot.gov and search “WIS 19 (Wood Violet to Maunesha River)” and select the first link.

The project will resurface the WIS 19 pavement, upgrade guardrail, place new pavement markings, and upgrade curb ramps between Wood Violet Lane and Musket Ridge Drive in Sun Prairie.

WIS 19 will remain open to traffic while being constructed under flagging operations. All local residences and businesses will remain open to traffic.

All persons interested in the project are encouraged to view the website and provide input by contacting project staff via email, postal mail, or phone. Your comments will assist WisDOT in developing a project that will serve the needs of the traveling public and community. Your input is welcome and appreciated throughout the design process.
