A group backed by the Democratic Governors Association today launched a TV ad criticizing GOP guv candidate Tim Michels for his “radical, divisive agenda.”

A spokeswoman for the DGA said a version of the 30-second Alliance for Common Sense ad will run statewide and a second version will run in the Milwaukee market. She did not provide details on how much was spent on the spot, but the DGA in May announced it had spent $21 million in initial TV ad buy reservations in Wisconsin as part of its efforts to boost Dem guvs.

“In his Wisconsin, teens can buy AR-15s. But laws that stop domestic abusers from getting guns ‘won’t happen here,'” a voice says in the ad. “Our taxes could go up $500 million and we help fund Milwaukee private schools while our public schools go broke.”

The ad also features video of the Trump-endorsed construction exec saying “Was the election rigged? Was the election stolen?”

The voiceover says Wisconsinites “don’t have to take” Michels’ agenda for the state because “it’s not his Wisconsin — it’s yours.”
