Dimitrijevic: “I’m proud of the strong grassroots support we’ve received in our campaign for Mayor. Milwaukeeans are calling for change.”

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Milwaukee Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic has announced that she raised $141,297.04 for her mayoral campaign in 2021, including $120,842.04 in the 4th quarter. As of December 31, 2021 Dimitrijevic had $119,561.31 in cash on hand.

“Our strong fundraising numbers are a reflection of the broad support we’ve received in this campaign,” said Alderwoman Dimitrijevic. “Our coalition is made up of working families, small business owners, teachers and immigrants who give what they can to our campaign. Individually we don’t have deep pocketbooks but collectively we’re putting together a strong campaign with a bold vision for Milwaukee.”

Since launching on October 18, Marina’s campaign has had strong grassroots support across Milwaukee. More than two-thirds of Dimitrijevic’s donations came from the City of Milwaukee and more than 95% came from Wisconsin. To date, Marina has received local endorsements from a majority of the Milwaukee School Board, AFT 212-Milwaukee Area Technical College, Milwaukee Teamsters Local 200 and Teamsters Local 314, and WomenLead Wisconsin.
