MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Alderwoman Marina Dimitrijevic is proud to announce she has been endorsed by Women Lead Wisconsin“
We are proud to endorse Marina for Mayor because she has a track record of getting things done,” said Jacqueline Boynton of Women Lead. “During her time at City Hall, Marina has expanded access to affordable, high-quality child care, made big investments in the Office of Violence Prevention, and expanded access to voting. We need a woman like Marina leading Milwaukee.”

“I am honored to have the endorsement of such an incredible group of women,” said Alderwoman Dimitrijevic. “Now more than ever, we must elect strong women to lead at all levels of government. Throughout my career, I’ve fought uphill battles and broken down barriers to support women in our city. This includes fighting for the reproductive rights of all Milwaukee women, paid family leave, domestic violence prevention and more.”

Women Lead Wisconsin mobilizes to support and promote viable pro-choice progressive women running for office in Wisconsin. They seek to make a direct and immediate impact on legislative policy affecting women’s rights and reproductive health while building a pipeline of seasoned candidates to run for office.

Marina Dimitrijevic was the youngest woman ever elected to the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors, and just the 2nd woman to serve as Chairwoman. She is a mother of three and currently serves as Alderwoman for Milwaukee’s 14th District where she grew up.
