Milwaukee, Wis. – On Tuesday, June 7, Wisconsin Department of Administration (DOA) Secretary-designee Kathy Blumenfeld will visit with small business owners in Milwaukee to highlight the impact of the Live Event Venue Assistance Grants. These grants previously announced by Governor Tony Evers aimed at ensuring a strong recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Grant recipients include Bounce Milwaukee and the Cactus Club.

Event Venue and Live Event Small Business Assistance Grants were previously announced by Gov. Evers in December 2021. Tuesday’s visit will provide an opportunity to highlight the impact of those grants in assisting small business owners. Nearly $27 million was invested with 200 businesses across the state.
