Former Milwaukee Ald. Bob Donovan and Acting Mayor Cavalier Johnson announced their separate election night parties as they gear up to see who will be the city’s next mayor.

Polls close at 8 p.m. today.

Donovan told he is welcoming all who wish to come to McKiernans Irish Pub at 5 p.m., though he added he likely won’t arrive at the bar in his old aldermanic district until roughly two hours later.

Johnson’s campaign announced it will host an election night party at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center downtown starting at 7:30 p.m. with a cash bar and some light refreshments. Those who wish to attend should RSVP on the campaign website.
