The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee is out with a new TV ad hitting U.S. Sen. Ron Johnson for his “sweet deal.”

It’s part of a $3 million ad campaign the group previously announced. The DSCC said it is running statewide, but didn’t provide other details.

In the spot, an ice cream sundae is built as the narrator says Johnson used his office to “scoop up millions for himself,” including a tax break that benefited his business.

The spot plays audio of Johnson saying, “Did my business benefit? Sure.”

The narrator says the break helped Johnson double his wealth and make him the fifth-richest senator in Washington.

“Ron Johnson’s not looking out for Wisconsin, he’s out for himself,” the narrator says to close the spot.
