Rep. Cindi Duchow (R-Pewaukee) today announced her bid for re-election to the State Assembly. Duchow is seeking her fourth term, having represented the 99th Assembly District since 2015.

“Serving the constituents of the 99th Assembly District is an honor,” said Rep. Duchow. “Helping people with questions on jobs, criminal justice, land-use problems, and anything else they bring to me, it’s always my pleasure to assist.”

Most notably, Rep. Duchow introduced a constitutional amendment on bail reform that passed the Assembly and Senate. For those accused of a violent crime, the amendment permits judges to consider a defendant’s past criminal convictions when setting bail.

This term, the Representative introduced a wide range of bills, touching on election integrity, charter schools, consumer protection, and family law. She also chairs the Assembly Committee on Financial Institutions.
