Madison, Wis. (March 14, 2022) – Edgewood College is now enrolling students in a new Master of Art in Art Therapy program, which will begin in fall 2022. The degree is offered in a fully-online format, and includes in-person and in-clinic residencies.

The program will train art therapists who will apply their knowledge, human relationship skills, and passion for art to help provide support for individuals, families, and communities through mental health and wellness restoration.

“Art Therapy is a creative, equitable, and accessible method of addressing mental health challenges,” Jill McNutt, Director Graduate Art Therapy, said. “Our program prepares graduates in a two-year program that covers the scope of an art therapy practice in the U.S.”

This Art Therapy Program has a designated learning lab space designed for teaching and hosting workshops with community program participants.

Several upcoming Virtual Information Sessions will be held to learn more about courses, cost, how to apply, and more, pre-registration is required.
