Madison, Wis. (August 2, 2022) – After a search that involved students, faculty, and staff, Edgewood College has selected Sodexo as its new dining services partner. The new partnership launched July 1, 2022.

“I am so excited that Sodexo has been chosen as the dining partner for Edgewood College,” Kevin Gilligan, district manager for Sodexo, said. “Our approach to building a successful dining program begins with the student voice. We know the importance, now more than ever, of dining being fully integrated with the College in promoting student success and building community. My promise is that we will be proactive and communicative to give Eagles the dining program they deserve and have fun while doing it.”

Phil’s, the College’s primary dining venue, will provide students wholesome, made-from-scratch menus, on-trend dining options, and local food favorites, as well as a commercial-grade cooking station that can be transformed into a teaching kitchen where students can create their own fun dishes.

“We’re energized about this partnership, especially with Sodexo’s proven record of delivering consistent value for organizations like Edgewood College,” Amanda Berg, Vice President for Financial Affairs/Chief Financial Officer, said. “Sodexo is a leader in their industry, and we’re excited for what that means for our students beginning this fall.”

In addition to a new vision for dining on campus at Edgewood College, students may look forward to the Everyday mobile app with menus and mobile ordering; employment opportunities, internships, scholarships, and a commitment to diversity in the dining leadership team with a focus on inclusivity in all that they do.
