MADISON, Wis. — Today, Governor Tony Evers’ campaign launched a new ad highlighting how Tim Michels’ family’s foundation has funded a group that tracks the cell phone location data of women who visit  Planned Parenthood clinics.

The group funded by Michels’ foundation uses cell phone location data to try to stop women from receiving abortions. The group targets women who have visited Planned Parenthood clinics with anti-choice ads and links to crisis pregnancy centers after they visit the clinics.

Michels’ personal foundation has donated to multiple anti-LGBTQ and anti-abortion groups, including Pro-Life Wisconsin, which is lobbying to ban abortion without exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother. These donations offer a glimpse into how Tim Michels would pursue similar radical and dangerous policies if he were elected governor. Michels has called Wisconsin’s 1849 ban “an exact mirror” of his position, and even said it’s “not unreasonable” for the government to force a rape victim to give birth.

Tony for Wisconsin: “Tracking”

Women are being watched, tracked through their cell phones.

Tim Michels’ family’s foundation funds a radical anti-abortion group that tracks the cell phone data of women who visit Planned Parenthood clinics, then tries to stop them.

Michels wants to ban abortion, even when the mother’s health is at risk.

And he’s using his wealth to track and harass women.

If he’s doing this now, what do you think he’d do as governor?
