MADISON, Wis. — Today, Governor Tony Evers’ campaign launched a new ad highlighting Tim Michels’ radical position on abortion. Tim Michels has reiterated time and time again that his abortion stance reflects Wisconsin’s 1849 abortion ban, which includes no exceptions for rape, incest, or health of the mother.

Gov. Evers wants to protect access to abortion, because it is healthcare. Gov. Evers has made his stance clear — he will not stop fighting until Wisconsinites have the same freedoms they’ve had for nearly half a century. Nobody should be made a second-class citizen. Politicians, like Tim Michels, shouldn’t be making these deeply personal decisions about reproductive health.

Tony for Wisconsin: “Twelve”

A twelve year old girl can’t legally drive a car.

At twelve, she can’t even vote.

But if this little girl were tragically raped or a victim of incest and became pregnant, radical Tim Michels would force her to deliver the baby.

He said it’s quote not unreasonable for the state government to mandate rape victims to give birth.

Would it be unreasonable if he were forcing this on you?

Let him know on Election Day.
