MADISON, Wis. — Today, Governor Tony Evers’ re-election campaign is launching its latest television ad of the 2022 cycle, focused on his commitment to improving public education in Wisconsin. Gov. Evers believes that what’s best for our kids is best for our state — and the latest ad highlights Gov. Evers’ experience as an educator and his record of doing the right thing for our students.
Since his first day in office, Gov. Evers has prioritized our public schools and worked with both teachers and parents to do what’s best for our kids. Gov. Evers brought both parties together to fund Wisconsin public schools at their highest level in nearly two decades, signed the largest increase in special education funding in a decade, and increased funding for universities and technical colleges. By investing in our public education, we can build a bright and prosperous future for all of Wisconsin.

Tony for Wisconsin: “Flashy”Gov. Evers:
I spent my career as a teacher, principal, and superintendent.
Never in a million years did I think I’d be in politics.
But when I saw the last administration cutting millions from our schools, demoralizing teachers, and dividing communities, I knew I had to step up.
Quality education for our kids matters to me, and it matters to the future of our state.
Now folks, I’m not the flashiest guy around, but I’ll always do the right thing for Wisconsin.
