MADISON, Wis. — Today, Governor Tony Evers’ re-election campaign is launching its latest television ads highlighting his historic investments to expand and improve high-speed internet access across the state.

One ad highlights how Gov. Evers has worked to expand access to more than 300,000 homes and businesses during his first term, and announces the governor’s pledge to improve access for an additional 300,000 homes and businesses in his second term.

The other ad highlights how Gov. Evers’ investments have helped rural Wisconsin and the state’s agriculture industry. The ad features Scott, a farmer from Dodgeville, who uses technology to track the well-being of his cows to ensure they are healthy. Farmers all around the state are benefitting from Gov. Evers’ investments in high-speed internet.

These ads are part of the campaign’s previously-announced $3.5 million buy through the August primary.

Tony for Wisconsin: “Internet

Some people have to drive as far as thirty miles into town just to use high-speed internet.

Folks, that’s a problem.

That’s why I expanded high-speed internet to over three hundred thousand homes and businesses across our state. I want to double that in the next four years.

Small businesses and families in rural communities need access to high-speed internet to keep up with the world.

It’s the right thing to do for our economy and it’s the right thing to do for our quality of life.

Tony for Wisconsin: “Scott

Every farm family needs high-speed internet. From sunup to sundown we use a lot of technology here on the farm.

We track our cows, we track their well-being and helps us manage our herd.

Tony Evers expanded high-speed internet to over three hundred thousand farms, homes, and businesses, including this fiber line here in Dodgeville.

There’s a lot of opportunity in rural america. A lot of opportunity will go missed if we don’t have access to the things that can grow our businesses and keep our communities with the times.

You’re very lucky if you get to do what you love for a living and I do.

Tony Evers is doing the right thing for Wisconsin.
