Oak Creek, WI – March 2, 2022– On Friday, March 4, Wisconsin Republican Gubernatorial Candidate Adam Fischer will join truck drivers from throughout the country in the American Trucker’s Freedom Convoy protesting COVID-19 mandates. Candidate Fischer will join the convoy at their scheduled stop at the Oakdale, WI exit on Interstate 94 in Monroe County. Fischer and the trucker’s convoy will continue their ride south on Interstate 94 to the I-94, I-39 intersection exiting at the Portage exit.
During the stop at the Petrol Travel Center (North 5800 Kinney Rd Portage, WI, 53901) Candidate Fischer will speak to the convoy participants, supporting and encouraging them on their journey to Washington, DC. In his Contract with Wisconsin, Fischer has pledged that when elected, he will immediately eliminate all mask and vaccine mandates throughout Wisconsin, standing with the truckers in their opposition to these injunctions.
