Sarah Harrison announces her Democratic candidacy for the Wisconsin State Assembly 13th District to retain the seat of current Rep. Sara Rodriguez (D-Brookfield), who is seeking the party’s nomination for Lieutenant Governor. Joined by Rep. Sara Rodriguez, Sarah Harrison will formally kick off her campaign with an event at Casablanca on Bluemound in Brookfield from 6-8PM on Friday, May 13th.

“I am a passionate advocate for public education, tax relief for our working families, and accessible healthcare for all,” Harrison says. “As your Representative, I will work tirelessly to bring positive results to Assembly District 13.”

Sarah’s involvement in her children’s school inspired her strong showing in the spring 2022 race for the School District of Waukesha school board. She will bring her skills and determination to represent the 13th Assembly District.

Sarah lives in Brookfield with her two children, who attend local public high schools, and has resided in Waukesha County for seventeen years.  She works in logistics and has over twenty years of experience in business leadership, distribution, and supply chain management.  Her nonprofit volunteer work has addressed hunger mitigation, environmental cleanup, and tutoring at-need students. She has a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Iowa and an M.B.A. in Executive Management from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
