Congratulations to Sara Rodriguez and her team. I will do everything I can over the coming months to make sure we elect the Evers-Rodriguez ticket. Our state’s future depends on it.
Although this is not the outcome we wanted or worked so hard for, I am so proud of the campaign we ran and so grateful to voters around the State. Our campaign was about inclusion, diversity, lifting up new voices, and envisioning a Wisconsin where everyone has a seat at the table.
The outcome today does not diminish my belief in those ideals nor my commitment to working to make them possible. I look forward to continuing my work – our work – to make Wisconsin a better place for everyone. And, I look forward to doing all I can to re-elect Governor Tony Evers this fall.
