Human Rights Campaign Equality Votes PAC today announced a statewide digital ad campaign, including an ad in support of Barnes’ U.S. Senate bid and Dem Gov. Tony Evers’ reelection campaign.
The campaign also includes ads that will run in Georgia, North Carolina and Nevada. A spokesperson for the LGBTQ+ advocacy group said the ad is part of a more than $100,000 buy in the state between now and Election Day.
“Extremist politicians outlawing abortion — even in cases of rape and incest — is just the beginning. They’re planning to take away our rights and freedoms, roll back same-sex marriage, make it harder to vote,” a voice-over says. “They threaten our progress, our future. Voting is how we fight back. Electing Barnes and Evers can secure our progress and our future.”
