Brookfield, WI – 5/16/2022 – Rob Hutton (R-Brookfield) is announcing his campaign for Wisconsin’s 5th Senate District.
My wife Patti and I have had the blessing of growing up and living in the 5th Senate District most of our lives. We also chose to raise our four children in this same, wonderful community.
We have a special bond with the 5th Senate District, having served many of its citizens in the State Legislature for 8 years.
The Fall 2022 elections are without question the most important of our lifetime. Our communities are in desperate need of tested and proven leaders, who have real life experience in solving serious issues like; runaway inflation, voter integrity, escalating crime rates, education outcomes, and school transparency.
As a Wisconsin business owner, I have the unique perspective of growing a business in these challenging economic times. I carry the responsibility of supporting the payroll of 75 families within Wisconsin’s manufacturing industry. I understand what it takes to balance a budget, driving efficiency, and meet the needs of both customers and employees.
As a Legislator, I was uncompromised in my conservative votes to protect the freedoms and rights of Wisconsin’s citizens. I fought and voted to return more money to the taxpayers, expand educational options for all families, protect life, and support law enforcement. I also led on legislation to support worker freedom through Right To Work, eliminate Prevailing Wage Law, reduce government spending, and insure the safety of Wisconsin’s vulnerable children.
As a husband and father, I know first hand the difficulties of raising a family in a culture that seems determined to tear apart our society, expose our children to harm, and push for more government control over our lives. I will fight to protect Wisconsin’s families from the many ill conceived ideas that weaken our democracy.
As we find ourselves at the crossroads as a society, Patti and I have decided we can’t sit out this election. We understand the consequences for Wisconsin families for generations to come. That is why I’ve decided to run as a citizen legislator to be your next State Senator for the 5th District.
The general election takes place November 8th , 2022. The 5th Senate District includes Brookfield, New Berlin, Elm Grove, Wauwatosa, and West Allis.
