Madison, Wis. — The Institute for Reforming Government is thrilled to announce that Alison Prange, Vice President of External Relations at Ballotpedia, has joined its Board of Directors. The addition of Alison to the board comes at an exciting time of organizational growth for IRG as it continues to expand its team and push out its conservative reform agenda across the state.
“Alison’s long-time leadership in Wisconsin and strong background in development, public policy, and communications will be a significant asset to our already strong board of directors. We are honored to have Alison join our board and lend her vision for making Wisconsin the heart of the American Dream,” said IRG President CJ Szafir.

As the newest addition to its board of directors, I look forward to helping IRG strengthen its vision and develop the resources it needs to continue to spread its message of holding government accountable and helping give every Wisconsinite the opportunity to succeed and prosper,” said IRG Board Member Alison Prange.
About Alison Prange: Alison is a nonprofit and strategic business executive with over 25 years of experience as a nonprofit executive with significant experience in public affairs, public policy, management, nonprofit leadership, fundraising and strategic planning. She currently works as Vice President of External Relations for Ballotpedia after serving as the principal of Resolute Consulting where she helped nonprofit and for-profit organizations grow and advance their corporate social responsibility efforts.
Prior to launching Resolute Consulting, Alison was President of the Henry Vilas Zoological Society where she helped the 105-year old organization experience 200% overall revenue growth and get recognized as the 2018 Philanthropy of the Year by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP). She also led the launch of the Save our Species Council, a program designed to engage regional corporations and philanthropists in global conservation efforts. Alison has also held several leadership roles at the American Cancer Society working nationally and in Wisconsin.
In addition to IRG, Alison also serves on the Board of Directors of OCEARCH, a global conservation organization, Paradigm Inc. Foundation, and the YMCA of Dane County Board of Directors. Active in the Madison community, she is also a member of the Greater Madison Convention and Visitors Bureau, and the Downtown Rotary Club.
