Mosinee, WI – On Tuesday, Brent Jacobson became the first State Senate candidate in  Wisconsin to gain approved ballot status by the Wisconsin Elections Commission after hand delivering nomination signatures for approval on Monday. State Senate candidates are required  to submit 400 valid signatures to be on the ballot.

Jacobson said, “I was thrilled to receive far more than the required number of nomination  signatures in just a few short weeks. It was even more encouraging to learn that I am the first  State Senate candidate in Wisconsin to earn approved ballot status. It’s a great testament to the  momentum of my campaign, but an even greater testament to the incredible help I have received  from so many volunteers.”

There are 277 candidates who have filed for the fall 2022 election in Wisconsin, from State  Assembly to United States Senate. Currently, Jacobson has the largest amount of nomination  signatures submitted of any candidate in the State.
