[Balsam Lake, Wis.] – Today, Attorney General candidate Adam Jarchow announced his endorsement from the National Rifle Association – making him the only Attorney General candidate, and the only statewide candidate in any race, to receive an endorsement from the organization.

In their endorsement letter to Jarchow, the NRA stated, “This endorsement reflects your lengthy and proven record of support for the Second Amendment and our hunting heritage.” The letter continued, “Our members will interpret your ‘A+’ rating and endorsement as being a solid pro-gun/pro-hunting candidate who is a staunch defender of the Right to Keep and Bear Arms.”

The NRA endorsement is the latest in a long line of leading conservative groups and individuals who are backing Jarchow for Attorney General. They join Congressman Tom Tiffany, 35 current and former State Legislators, nearly 30 Sheriffs and Chiefs of Police, Ted Nugent, Wisconsin Right to Life, Americans for Prosperity (AFP), the Wisconsin Bear Hunters Association, and the Wisconsin Young Republicans.

“As an avid sportsman who believes in the need to preserve our state’s sporting heritage, I’m pleased to be the only statewide candidate to receive the endorsement of the NRA,” said Adam Jarchow. “We’re always just one election away from losing our right to bear arms and protect our families – and as  Attorney General, your constitutional right to bear arms will not be infringed upon.”
