Milwaukee mayoral candidate Cavalier Johnson in a new six-figure broadcast, cable and digital ad campaign calls for an end to rising violent crime.

Johnson, currently serving as acting mayor of Milwaukee, in the 30-second ad says he has a plan to end the violence after explaining how his own car was struck by a bullet while parked in front of his house while his kids were inside.

“Luckily no one was hurt,” he said. “But there’s too much gun violence in our streets. And it puts our families and our first responders in danger.”
