MILWAUKEE— The campaign for Mayor Cavalier Johnson announced today that he has been endorsed by both the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin.
“I’m a Democrat, and I’m honored by the support of my friends and colleagues in the Democratic Party of Milwaukee County and the Democratic Party of Wisconsin,” said Mayor Johnson. “I stand with my fellow Democrats on the issues of the day.”
“That said, I am governing now, and will continue to approach the job of Mayor, in a nonpartisan manner, representing all the people of Milwaukee and bringing people together,” said Johnson. “I’ve had the support of Republicans, Democrats, and Independents in this campaign, because we have a big, bold vision of a safer, stronger, and more prosperous Milwaukee for all.”
