MILWAUKEE—The following is a statement from Sachin Chheda, campaign manager for Mayor Cavalier Johnson’s campaign:
“Today we are releasing the campaign’s first general election ad, “For All of Us” which was filmed during Mayor Cavalier Johnson’s primary night victory speech. The ad will air on Milwaukee broadcast and cable television as well as online.
“In the ad, Mayor Johnson touts his bold vision for building a safer, stronger, more prosperous Milwaukee for all of us. He notes that he has not had to learn about what Milwaukee’s challenges are, he has lived those challenges in what he describes as a wonderful, beautiful, but sometimes heartbreaking city.
“This campaign is not just about winning an election, it’s about ushering in a new era of prosperity and security that takes into account the basic needs of all Milwaukee residents, builds on our successes, and addresses our challenges. Electing Cavalier Johnson to continue to serve as Milwaukee’s mayor is the best path forward. We will leave no stone unturned as the campaign continues to reach voters over the air and on the ground over these last three weeks.”
