OSHKOSH  – Today, the National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) endorsed U.S. Senator Ron Johnson’s (R-WI) re-election campaign. The endorsement was announced at an event held in Milwaukee. The NBPC represents approximately 18,000 Border Patrol agents and supports personnel assigned to the U.S. Border Patrol.

“As Chairman of the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs, Senator Johnson has devoted more time and attention to securing our border than virtually any other member of Congress,” said NBPC President Brandon Judd in a statement. “By holding more than three dozen hearings during his chairmanship, and his multiple trips to the border and Central America, he has gained a unique insight into the root cause of the out-of-control flood of illegal immigrants and deadly drugs into our country and Wisconsin itself.”

“The National Border Patrol Council has personally witnessed Senator Johnson’s dedication to and care for all Wisconsinites,” Judd continued. “Wisconsin and America need Senator Johnson’s strong voice, caring spirit, and leadership in the U.S. Senate which is why we are proud to endorse Senator Johnson to continue to be your advocate.”
