Windsor, WI – On Friday, Dane County Judge Everett Mitchell, candidate for Wisconsin Supreme Court, released the following statement on the overturn of Roe V. Wade.
“While we knew this decision was coming, the reality of a reproductive right being taken from women, is both heart-wrenching and disappointing. For the first time in this country, my daughter and my wife will have fewer rights than their grandmothers had. As an ally, I will always use my male privilege to stand with and to stand up for women’s reproductive rights. We must turn our attention to the people of Wisconsin, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and the Wisconsin Constitution to protect a woman’s reproductive choice.”
