WEST ALLIS, WI —   Jessica Katzenmeyer (D), who is running for the U.S. House of Representatives in Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District, proudly announces that Chris Rockwood, former congressional candidate in Wisconsin’s 5th district, has endorsed her campaign.

In a statement about Katzenmeyer, Rockwood said, “I enthusiastically endorse Jessica Katzenmeyer for Congress. I’ve known Jessica for years as a union leader, community activist, and political candidate. Jessica’s life experiences make her an especially effective advocate for LGBTQ rights and affordable health care for all. I trust Jessica and know that she will always be listening and learning while she fights for all of us in Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District. Jessica’s passion, determination, and progressive platform are exactly what we need in Washington!”

Rockwood becomes the second former congressional candidate in the district, joining Glendale Mayor Bryan Kennedy, to support Katzenmeyer. “I’m honored to have the support of past candidates like Chris Rockwood,” said Katzenmeyer. “People like Chris understand the importance of this election to turn out the vote and oust Scott Fitzgerald from office. His endorsement continues our movement forward to hold Fitzgerald accountable.”
