MADISON, Wis. — Today, Kaul for Attorney General announced a bipartisan coalition of Wisconsin district attorneys has endorsed Attorney General Josh Kaul’s campaign for re-election.
“Josh Kaul is doing a fantastic job as Attorney General,” said Buffalo County DA Tom Bilski. “I’m happy to support him for re-election.”
“It’s critical that we re-elect AG Kaul this November. The focus of the power of the Attorney General’s office needs to be on investigating and prosecuting serious crimes, not political grandstanding,” said Jefferson County District Attorney Monica Hall. “We have to keep Wisconsin a place where my daughter will have the same opportunities I had, and it’s clear Attorney General Josh Kaul shares that vision.”
“I’m an Independent and I support candidates based on who I think is best for the job they’re running for, not based on their partisan affiliation,” said Wood County District Attorney Craig Lambert. “Josh Kaul is the person I trust as AG to fight crime, defend the rule of law, and protect democracy, and I’m proud to endorse him for re-election.”
“While I endorsed Brad Schimel four years ago, Josh Kaul has earned the support of those of us who care deeply about public safety and the rule of law,” said Kenosha County District Attorney Michael Graveley. “Attorney General Kaul is committed to getting justice for victims of crime and making communities safer, and he’s been a strong and effective leader of the Wisconsin Department of Justice.”
“Josh Kaul understands how to make communities safer and effectively fight crime,” said La Crosse County District Attorney Tim Gruenke. “AG Kaul has been a leading voice for common-sense gun-safety measures, helped make our schools safer, and stood up for survivors of sexual assault by strengthening Wisconsin’s response to that violent crime.”
