[Waukesha, WI] – Tom Tiffany became the first sitting Wisconsin Republican Congressman to endorse in the Wisconsin Governor’s race on Monday, throwing his support behind Rebecca Kleefisch’s campaign for governor.
Rep. Tiffany adds to the growing conservative coalition casting their support behind Kleefisch, including Gov. Scott Walker, Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds, the Conservative Political Action Coalition, Trump Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Trump Deputy National Security Advisor K.T. McFarland, Ted Nugent, Wisconsin Family Action, and Wisconsin Right to Life.

Rebecca Kleefisch is picking up a big endorsement in her run for governor. Fellow Republican, Tom Tiffany endorsed the former lieutenant governor at Bull Falls Brewery on Monday. Kleefisch hit Governor Tony Evers on inflation and expanding budgets. She also said the governor isn’t doing enough to crack down on crime.
“Rebecca Kleefisch has my full and total endorsement,” said [Tom Tiffany.] … When G.O.P. candidate Kleefisch took the podium she shared her plans for day 1. “I will put a thousand more police officers on the streets of Wisconsin,” said Kleefisch. While that seems like a lot, her plan stems from a small pool of law enforcement officials in Wisconsin. “We will aggressively recruit in other states where they have seen vaccine mandates and a crackdown on people exercising their individual rights and constitutional liberties, and we will ask those people to come to Wisconsin,” said Kleefisch.
“When she is Governor she is going to work tirelessly for the people of Wisconsin,” said Tiffany. “That weakness that you see with Joe Biden we also see with Tony Evers. Does anybody see strength there with any of those gentlemen in tryin to do their jobs as Chief Executive?” he added.
