“My heart goes out to the families whose officers never returned home. The brave men and women who serve and protect Wisconsin communities represent the best among us. They put their lives on the line every day to make our communities stronger and safer, some paying the ultimate price. We must continue to honor their sacrifice and support their families.
“Police are tasked with protecting the public in the face of anti-cop hatred and violence. Our leaders need to stand up for law enforcement to ensure safety on the job. Wisconsin leaders need to stand with those who fight for law and order every day, and when I’m governor, I promise I will.”
