Pro-life, pro-woman and pro-baby

The Waukesha Freeman

Being mom to Ella and Violet is my most rewarding calling. My fight for my children and yours inspires and encourages me every day, and it’s why I get up in the morning.

I was overjoyed to hear the Supreme Court is ready to overturn Roe v. Wade. Abortionists have taken the lives of more than 60 million unborn babies since 1973. It’s time to stand up for the rights of our most vulnerable and defend the fundamental right to life.

But as we in the pro-life movement celebrate, I also know the news has caused some women fear and confusion over what happens next. That’s why I am full of empathy and compassion for the women who need reassurance that they will be surrounded by grace … and resources to help them. Parenthood, expected or not, is full of trials and joys, and surprise pregnancies may even bring heartbreak. While abortion advocates try to tell women the only solution is to end their child’s life, they’re wrong. Women and our babies deserve better than abortion being the default option to an unplanned pregnancy. Life is always the best option.

Democrats, the media, and abortion giants will tell women their futures are at stake following this court decision. They want women to think that they won’t be able to live full lives unless they end the lives of unplanned babies. This is one of the most anti- feminist lies ever told. Women have been giving their children life and reaching their goals as long as motherhood has existed … and it’s not the exception; it’s the rule. To insinuate otherwise — that we can’t do both — is archaic junk long debunked by hard- working moms everywhere.

I don’t back down from a fight. When 100,000 protesters stormed the Capitol because we were trying to balance our checkbook, I didn’t back down. And I won’t waver now when it comes to protecting our most vulnerable.

Sadly, the radical, unhinged leftist mob will go to any lengths to continue to profit off the killing of unborn children. Even since the draft SCOTUS decision was leaked, corporate media have bullied and radicals have threatened the Supreme Court justices.

The abortion industry will use its pawns like Tony Evers to maintain their treacherous business as usual. But I know that protecting moms and babies is the right thing — always. So, like I look out for my daughters, I’ll look out for your girls and babies as Wisconsin’s governor. You have my promise.
