[Waukesha, WI] – In case you missed it, Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) endorsed Rebecca Kleefisch for Governor on Monday in a rare pre-primary endorsement, cementing Rebecca as the candidate for hard-working Wisconsin businesses and workers.
Read more about WMC’s endorsement in the news:
Jay Weber: “Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, from what I know, almost never endorses in the primaries. I’ve learned that it’s going to make an exception this fall in the Wisconsin governor’s race…”
Kurt Bauer, WMC CEO: “We believe that Rebecca Kleefisch is the right leader at the right time to address [Wisconsin’s] challenges. … [Tony Evers] is taking us backwards and we need someone to take us forward.”
“It’s time to take back control of our own lives and get excited about the future, to stand with job creators, and to stand with the workers of Wisconsin,” Kleefisch said. “We need to fight for the workers of the state and the job creators who assure that, every day, Wisconsin will claw her way back to the top.”
“It is funny, coincidental or perhaps even ironic that we are here at a chair manufacturer and yet we are trying to make sure no one sits on the sidelines of this gubernatorial race, which we know is going to be pivotal not only here for the state of Wisconsin residents but also countrywide,” she said during her visit to KI.
“Rebecca has proven time and again that she stands with job creators and the hard-working people of Wisconsin,” said WMC President & CEO Kurt R. Bauer. “We need a governor who is going to tackle our state’s economic challenges head-on, and she has the plan to do just that.”
