Milwaukee – Tonight, in the Democratic Primary Debate for this year’s U.S. Senate race in Wisconsin, Alex Lasry highlighted his promise to “put money back into the pockets of working people” and noted that he’s running as a “make it in America Democrat.”
“Since the beginning of his campaign, Alex has been running as someone who will put money back into the pockets of working people, and that’s still what he’s running on today,” said Lasry Campaign Manager Garren Randolph. “That’s why Alex has climbed to a statistical tie in polls ahead of this Democratic Primary debate. Wisconsinites are tired of only having one Senator in Washington fighting for them – Alex will change that by beating Ron Johnson in November and bringing much-needed relief to the people of Wisconsin.”
The winner of this Democratic Primary will go on to face Ron Johnson, who’s actively shipped jobs out of Wisconsin. Lasry is running with the opposite record, one of creating jobs and raising wages in Wisconsin. The contrast couldn’t be starker, and according to recent internal polling from the Lasry campaign, voters cite Lasry’s command on economic issues as why he’s the best candidate to beat Ron Johnson in November.
The Democratic Primary Election for the United States Senate will be held Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. For more information about Alex Lasry’s campaign, visit www.alexlasry.com.
