Milwaukee – Tonight at the Democratic primary debate, Alex Lasry highlighted his strong economic record by promising Wisconsinites that he’ll deliver jobs, higher wages, and economic opportunity for everyone in Wisconsin.

Since the beginning of his campaign, Lasry has made it clear that he’s a “make it in America Democrat” and that’s the only kind of Democrat that can beat Ron Johnson in November. That’s why tonight he laid out a clear path for Wisconsinites to get our economy back on track by putting more money back in working people’s pockets.

Lasry has a track record of economic success–creating 10,000 new union jobs in Wisconsin and ensuring that all of those employees received at least a $15 minimum wage. Ron Johnson on the other hand, has a record of fighting unions and advocating against raising wages, and has even shipped jobs out of Wisconsin.

Wisconsinites are tired of only having one Senator in Washington fighting for them, and tonight Alex Lasry made it clear that when he beats Ron Johnson in November he’ll go to Washington as a “make it in America Democrat” that will fight to put more money back in the pockets of working people.

The Democratic Primary Election for the United States Senate will be held Tuesday, August 9th, 2022. For more information about Alex Lasry’s campaign, visit www.alexlasry.com.
