Milwaukee – Today, former Democratic Party of Wisconsin State Chairman, Wisconsin State Senator, Assembly Member, and long time labor leader Joe Wineke, announced his support for Alex Lasry in this year’s Wisconsin U.S. Senate Race.
“I’ve lived in Wisconsin all my life, and for the last decade I’ve had to deal with that sorry excuse of an incumbent Ron Johnson–but this is the first time I’ve seen where our chances to take him out of office are this great, and Alex Lasry is the only candidate that can do that this November,” said Joe Wineke. “I’ve served in the State Assembly, the State Senate, and as the former Chair of the Democratic Party of Wisconsin, I know what it takes to win elections here. Alex is building a campaign with the right resources, support, and policy to send our do-nothing incumbent packing in November. I’m proud to stand alongside him as he seeks to lift up our working families and make our communities safer.”
Joe Wineke is the newest addition to Lasry’s growing list of endorsers from every corner of Wisconsin that know that Alex Lasry is the best candidate to take on Ron Johnson this fall.
