A coalition of local government groups has launched an ad campaign to push back on efforts to undercut faith in elections.
A TV ad features three local clerks with the tagline, “We trust our elections because we trust them.”
The effort by the League of Wisconsin Municipalities, Wisconsin Counties Association and Wisconsin Towns Association includes TV, radio and digital ads. It begins today and runs through the April 5 election.
The groups didn’t say much they were spending on the ad, which features: Ellen Skerke, the town of Neenah clerk; Cindi Gamb, the village of Kohler deputy clerk; and Lisa Riley, the village of Cobb clerk.
